MEMO:     CONFIRMATION II STUDENTS & PARENTS/GUARDIAN

Re:             October 25, 2008 – NJ COMMUNITY FOOD BANK

                            11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

*** Students should wear “layered”, comfortable clothing (jeans and sneakers) and bring work gloves.    Leave your valuables, bags, etc. home.  There is no place to store anything.

*** Be at the Food Bank no later than 11:15 a.m.

*** People who are car-pooling should meet in OLV’s parking lot at 10:45 a.m.

*** It is the parent’s responsibility to get your child to and from the Food Bank – parents are both welcome and encouraged to remain and work with their child at the Food Bank.

*** We will be finished working at the Food Bank at 1:30 p.m.

*** All STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE FOOD BANK BY 1:30 p.m.!

*** As you know, attendance is required at every Confirmation Meeting.  Our visit to the Food Bank IS A CONFIRMATION MEETING, therefore you are expected to be in attendance.

*** If your child has a practice or school activity on the day of our trip, I will be happy to write a letter to the school asking that your child be excused.  I have found the schools to be extremely cooperative in the past.

*** DIRECTIONS ARE LOCATED via the Food Bank Directions menu item.

*** Students should bring Green Service Hours Form with them. 

(Extra forms are on the back porch of the Parish Center)

I understand that there are extraordinary reasons why someone may not be able to 

attend on the 25^th, if this is the case, please call the office as soon as possible to 

discuss the matter.
